Visit Columbia's Kellye Murphy and Lexi Dearborn win state tourism awards
The Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association named Kellye Murphy, Visit Columbia's tourism and marketing director, its small-market destination marketing Director of the Year, and Lexi Dearborn its Employee of the Year in the same category. Murphy has run Visit Columbia for nine years, growing it from a one-person office to a staff of ten and opening the Welcome Center in 2021. Dearborn started the city's Columbia 101 class for residents and is helping plan the 2027 Fruit Tea Festival.
